As a first-generation immigrant from India, my journey has spanned engineering, clinical trials, and biomedical ventures, allowing me to bring diverse perspectives to drive innovation across industries. Over the last four years, I’ve co-founded and led multiple biomedical startups focused on advancing healthcare through cutting-edge technology and patient-centered solutions.I believe that the healthcare ecosystem should be built around patients and their needs. To make this vision a reality, I build startups, mentor emerging entrepreneurs, and teach clinical innovation. Through programs like NSF I-Corps, Almaworks, and the DIH Pathways, I guide early-stage founders to refine their ideas, build sustainable businesses, and bridge the gap between research and real-world care.Currently, also as a PhD candidate at Mount Sinai, I focus on clinical trial innovation and healthcare operations. My work has been recognized for its impact, including presenting recommendations to the NIH on improving clinical trial networks and receiving awards from the American Public Health Association, National Science Foundation, and Mount Sinai Innovation Partners.Whether mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, teaching the next generation, or building ventures of my own, my mission is to foster innovation that bridges the gap between groundbreaking research and real-world patient care. I am committed to advancing healthcare by nurturing talent, driving entrepreneurial growth, and developing technologies that truly improve patient outcomes.Life Mantra: Have the vision to change the world; because if not us ‘WHO?’, and if not now ‘WHEN?’
